CROWNWeb Enrollment
CROWNWeb is a CMS-mandated data collection system that all facilities will be required to use upon national implementation.   Currently, CMS has targeted Spring 2012 as its goal for national implementation.   In order to have access to CROWNWeb, each ESRD Network 16 facility needs a minimum of one Security Official and one QIMS End User Manager.   Terms are defined, and additional instructions provided, in CROWNWeb/QIMS Common Terms and Other Resources .   QIMS training videos are also available on the Project CROWNWeb website at http://www.projectcrownweb.org/crown/index.php?page=CROWNWeb_Training&subPage=Training_Materials.QIMS REGISTRATION FOR ALL NETWORK 16 USERS OPENED FEBRUARY 1, 2012..
Enrolling for QIMS.   Find descriptions and flowcharts for the entire registration process at http://www.nwrenalnetwork.org/IM/Registration.pdf, and visual guides for each class of registrant below.
All applicants must do the following steps one at a time, in order.
- All applicants must complete the Online Security Awareness Training (print out your Security Awareness Training Certificate when completed) and both QIMS Application parts: Part A and Part B.
- Enroll your facility’s FIRST QIMS Security Official.
- Enroll your facility’s FIRST QIMS End User Manager.
- Enroll your facility’s regular users.
- Enroll your backup End User Manager and backup Security Official (Enrollment Processes Coming Soon).
