We are seeking a self-directed candidate who is able to manage multiple concurrent projects and tasks. Responsibilities for this full-time position include resolution of patient and/or facility concerns and grievances, development and dissemination of community educational materials, collaboration with a Patient Advisory Committee and Medical Review Board, presentation of educational programs on managing difficult situations and conflict resolution, participation on national work groups focused on improving outcomes for kidney patients, and contribution to the development of quality of care improvement projects with other Network staff members. Highly effective communication, education and advocacy skills in working with diverse individuals are essential. Requirements include a Masters degree in Social Work (MSW) or an MA/MS in Counseling, and health care experience.
