Note: These patient census counts are "unofficial" tallies, which we assemble quarterly from the Network database, as soon as all of the Patient Activity Reports from facilities have been received and verified.   Our "official" year-end patient census is drawn from the Annual Facility Survey Forms CMS-2744 (Table 2 of our Annual Report, and also found in our Point Prevalence Reports).   Since the two report series are assembled at different times, there may be small differences between them, as individual elements are corrected.
